Dear Friends and Supporters,
At the urging of several councilmembers and civic leaders and to continue the work I began on council in 2006 - 2007, I filed my "Declaration of Candidacy" as a candidate for the Colorado Springs City Council District 4 on April 30, 2008. The election will be held on April 7, 2009. My campaign committee is established and we have yard signs ready to go.
I will make a formal announcement this summer. In the meantime, I would welcome your support, encouragement, and endorsement. Our city still faces many challenges and I believe we need strong, dedicated leadership to help move our great community forward. My year of experience on Council has given my unique insight into the workings of our city. I spent many hours meeting with citizens and civic and citizen groups during that year. I will bring common sense, conservative leadership to our city.
